    The ever elusive Ghost Rider was spotted in southern Minnesota recently.

      The only way I know of doing this with one exposure is to expose the scene for duration X and be in the scene for a duration less than X. I've done it by exposing the scene, walking into the scene, staying motionless in the scene, walking out of the scene, and terminating the exposure. A remote shutter release makes it a little easier but is not necessary.

      Yep, that's how I do it. Set the camera for a 15 second exposure, set the self timer for 10 seconds to give me time to get into the scene, count off 8 or 9 seconds once the shutter opens, and then quickly get out of the scene.
