Named Gates of Central Park
Central Park is surrounded by a rectangular parapet 2.5 miles long, north to south, and 0.5 mile from east to west. Among the multitude of entrances into Central Park, there are supposedly 22 named gates around the perimeter.

The names were chosen By 1862, the park's commissioners selected names that best represented those professions that might use the park.
Of the 22, here are 20 of them.
Student's Gate was not found, supposedly by Children's Gate & Vanderbilt Gate, although obviously present, lacked the sandstone, or other type, moniker plate.
