The nightsky in Trás-os-Montes

This is how the night sky looks in Trás-os-Montes, north Portugal.

In the left side of the picture, sits the Milky Way, whose galactic core is disappearing (it will be back next year). In the opposite side of the photo, there is some airglow (those faint green stripes across the sky), caused by excited atoms of oxygen about 100km high in the atmosphere.
