tea party cupcakes (for bridal fair)

Newer Older

Tea party cupcakes on a tea table setting. I bought the gorgeous teacups, saucers & plates from my local second hand shop (Cloe Collectibles) in 4 different colours! Bone china from England (1850 on the base..is that the date??)

caramilka, pink.latte, Millicent, and 175 other people added this photo to their favorites.

This is so great!!! You are so talented and creative. I've showed everyone your page and they love it. I'm just starting out in making cakes, I need ALOT of practice!! my friend wants me to make these for her and one of your cakes but i'm not quite sure i'll be able to replicate what you've made.
    Amazing work!

Kylie I knew that was your work before I even looked at the name. This is just so beautiful and romantic. Wouldn't this be a wonderful way to do a cake tasting consultation for say the bride, her mother and the bridesmaids. All in different flavored cake and filling. I know, I am thinking big, but only for an order you are certain to have booked and priced high.

Kylie, do you realize that this picture has had over 11 thousand views!! Isn't that wild?? I am doing a baby shower soon & I think that this swirl would be really pretty. What tip did you use?

    Thanks everyone........
Jules....I didn't...isn't it amazing when you look at things like that! I had a look at the stats recently as to how many views I get a week...I wish it were one of those pay by the view sites LOL!!
This was so long ago I can't remember the tip...but it would have been either a large star one, or a large flower one (I can't remember now) but something like a wilton 1G (probably not that one but similar) or a plastic Loyal no.15... The trick was to turn the cupcake.........but sometimes I can't get it right...depends on my day!!
