An invitation for the Amazing Image group series.

This group is part of a series. Its admin team invites all the images in the groups. So we have a collection of some of the most amazing images found on flickr in the form of high quality group pools concentrating on a narrow topic in each group.

Just curious if you know the schedules of these very special retro trips and if they are scheduled far in advance. Is it possible to reserve seats on any upcoming trips. I have researched such trips and found nothing. Thanks for your time. Robert

No. 4449 is in the custody of the Oregon Rail Heritage Foundation, a partnership of non-profit organizations that own or maintain historic rolling stock . The Foundation is constructing a new restoration facility and public interpretive center adjacent to the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) in southeast Portland. The new facility will house the 4449 and the other rolling stock, and will include the old turntable from the Brooklyn roundhouse. You might contact the Foundation, or the Pacific Northwest Chapter of the Railway Historical Society. You'll find what you seek with a bit more work.
