Coconut Rice Pudding with Almond and Cardamom

    ~1.5 cups cooked jasmine rice,
    simmered with 2 cups coconut milk,
    1/2 cup sugar (or to taste),
    a handful of chopped almonds,
    and the ground seeds from 3 green cardamom pods.

      When I was very young and visited Trinidad, all rice had a special taste. I asked about it and was told that the difference came from rice imported from Guyana.

      Lately by year 2001 went back asked for the rice but it gone. No body know what I talkin' about.

      Recenrtly on TV I heard that rice is prepared with coconut. I this the difference?
