    Me as a Halloween ghost. Boo! I must have about twelve years old or so. Photographed by my Mom, Jane Rolfe. Center Line, Michigan. Easy costume , sheet over the head and cut out holes for eyes and mouth. About 1968.

      You are correct on that one....I always got a hole in mine...from dragging it when it got too full.

      Thanks!! I remember wearing this homemade i went trick or treating..the eye holes kept on moving around....then I kept on stepping on the edges of the bottom of costume as I walked up front porches. It's funny as to what you remember:)

      it was a ghost costume , my mother usually sewed us costumes every year, I am sure you have seen the 70's butterick or mc call patterns, well that year i think my brother was born so she did not have the time , out came the sheet, trip, fall, candy rolling down the street, my cut out eyes sagged , LOL , so how i was thinking i looked like caspers friend "wendy " in the cartoon :-)LOL !!!!!
