Lagar redondo
El viejo lagar. Al parecer la uva se echaba desde arriba, se maceraba en compartimentos y luego se abrían las compuertas para que cayese al lagar, dónde se prensaba. Los lagares antiguos suelen ser cuadrados. Éste es raro en la forma y en los compartimentos.

The old press. The grapes were throen in from above, left to macerate in the compartments. Then the little doors were opened and it all went into the press. Old wine presses were usually square; this one's is kind of funny in being round and having these compartments.
