I had to take a little (377.8 miles) mental enema ride today. It was a good thing because I've been working too much lately. I headed to Birmingham to shop for some new riding boots, then cut across to Cheaha to hit some of the dirt forest service roads and wonderfully smooth paved twisties. It was pretty cool coming down the twisties on Hwy 281 and blowing past all the shiny, new Harleys on my filthy 18 year old BMW. There was probably still dust blowing off of my bike from all the dirt roads I'd just ridden. That guy on the V-Rod didn't know what hit him. . )
As an added bonus, when I programmed the 276c to get me from Bogarts BMW to Cheaha State Park, it led me over some dirt roads as well.
