THREE BUOYS IN CATHEDRAL PARK IN BELFAST [BUOY’S PARK]

Beside St. Anne’s Cathedral and the Ulster University is Cathedral Gardens. In the centre are three large maritime buoys – a gift from the Commissioner of Irish Lights. They represent the successful days gone by when Belfast had a traditional sea port and ship building city. Also known as Buoy's Park, the space is used annually for Culture Night Belfast and other festivals.
