Jersey City Peregrine Falcons, June 20, 2013
Revisited Jersey City late this morning with my friend Bonnie, and we found the young male, now officially a fledgling, perched at 101 Hudson, 4 floors below the nestbox! The adults did some fly-bys as he watched. There was prey on the ledge next to him, and the adult female eventually landed to feed it to him (the prey looked like an Eastern Meadowlark). Both adults patrolled the airspace around the building, and occasionally ventured out in search of the next meal!
