I love it - it more than lives up to expectations! Wouldn't a matching skirt be nice too...?

    This is gorgeous!

Thanks you guys. Do you think a skirt in the same fabric might be too much? I was considering a deep orangey-red pant with a stripe of this down the sides. But not sure that works either.

My local shop has this and I've wondered about it for this jacket. Thought it might be too much, but boy was I wrong! Great job!

Go with you instincts Jan ! Plain pants would be smart ,a stripe would detract from the jacket.
That said , with your daughters colouring the little short skirt matching with simple socks/stockings and little black shoes would be very snappy.
    Really nice work!

I second Nicole's suggestion, I think the stripe would detract. The jacket is stunning. I like the blues in the jacket too- It would really make denim pop if you wanted a more casual look. Perhaps use this as the lining material on the Sandbox Pants, and having the lining peek out the back?

I love this!!! I just went through all my O+S patterns tonight and this is one of 4 that I've yet to touch. Must get one made! You did a beautiful job on this.

I don't think a matching skirt would be too much paired with solid tights like Nicole suggested.

My vote's for plain - boring aren't I? - either denim like Johanna suggested, or how about corduroy in any coordinating colour??

What a great staple to wear with denim or a coordinating corduroy skirt! (you've got me dreaming about it...)
  • McArt 5y

    oh such great work!!
