LAPD (45/365)

Day 45: I walked the Downtown Los Angeles area for a couple of hours today looking for my shot of the day. I wanted to take a shot of the fountains in front of the John Ferraro Building, but after walking over to it, I was dismayed to find a substantial construction project taking place where the fountains used to be. After wandering around some more and then finally finding my way over to Little Tokyo, I took pause from my walking to try some panning shots. I decided on this shot of an LAPD squad car as my shot of the day. It's SOOC except for minor cropping and tilting.

Wow, this is really cool! very nice pan and the sense of movement is accentuated with the car going downhill.

Seen on my Flickr home page. (?)
  • John Liu 4y

Perry McKenna Thanks Perry. I must admit, the car wasn't going downhill. I added a bit of tilt to simulate that effect. : )

pretty unusual that this lapd unit has center wheel caps, when almost all the other lapd units have wheel covers
