A light bulb but no (good) ideas... (17/365)

    Newer Older

Day 17: I racked my brains for more than three hours this evening and finally had to throw in the towel. I must have taken more than 100 shots involving a dozen different subjects. I even tried my hand at double exposures. I just could not get something that I really liked. In the end, the result you see is all that I could muster. I guess I'll chalk today up to experience and try to come back strong tomorrow.

Thanks guys. I get ideas, but my technical skills just aren't where I'd like them to be, resulting in me not being able to properly execute them and many wasted shots. Anyway, that's what this project is for... to improve my technique and creativity. Thanks for stopping by and the encouragement.

I have the same problem. If my technical skills were where I wanted them to be then I could create all the things that pop into my mind's eye. Just practice ok. There's a walth of info on the net.

Very creative for having "no ideas"

Thanks, but lately, it has been a struggle to come up with something for my daily shot.

I have the same problem with technical skills too. And also lack of fancy flashes and related equipment.
I like this one though. It's simple but it's a brilliant quote. Something all of us should remember at times. The softness of the light globe is really nice too.
