Wild Surreal Pas de Deux Mosaic-9
A new surreal twist on an old mosaic... I am not sure i like this Version 9
I really do feel that it's the most beautiful Pas de Deux I have ever seen... It's a powerful and profound emotional experience.
Miss Megan and Bo performing in Norman Walker's Incredibly beautiful ballet Pas de Deux at Arizona Ballet Theatre's Nutcracker 2011 Party last Sunday, at The U of A's Stevie Eller Theatre. It is a work in progress and will be completed in time for the June, 2012 performances.
As I was shooting these photos, I remember being struck by the thought that this was the most beautiful Pas de Deux I have ever seen in 40 years of involvement in the ballet world. I was so busy after the party with 3000 plus photos that I put that thought out of my mind.
Imagine my surprise on Tuesday night when Cecily told me of a discussion she had earlier with Norman. He said that at the party after this performance of a work in progress, a parent had come up to him and said it was the most beautiful Pas de Deux she had ever seen. She said she had attended ballet performances all over the ballet world for thirty years.
That tells me that she is sophisticated and knowledgeable with a well developed artistic judgement and point of view. (My words...)
On any level, this was gorgeous. I can't wait to see it completed, well rehearsd, and performed this coming June 2nd and 3rd, 2012.
This mosaic has not yet been seen by Mr Walker, Miss Megan or Bo. It has passed the Miss Cecily test...;))
I'm not sure if this reflection treatment suits this presentation of images... Perhaps a simple museum matted version. Or no frame at all...
I can no longer see objectively. I have "fallen in love with my baby." It's a common engineering presentation problem. It's really a problem for any writer. You need a good editor...;))
I really value your thoughts. Please show and/or tell me what presentation treatment you would prefer.
