Milkyway rising

The milkyway rises above the Churfirsten.

 

Photo was created by stacking several individual shots, aligning them for the stars and the foreground and then recompositing them. The image was taken while the moon was still up so the contrast is relatively weak but I somehow like it that way.

 

This wasn't really a planned shot, it's more like left overs from setting up the camera/focus etc. :)
