Point Hicks Lighthouse

Australia's tallest lighthouse.

Perched on a bare granite headland, surrounded by Croajingolong National and World Biosphere park stands the 1890 Point Hicks Lighthouse with its historic Oregon timber cottages nestled below. The place in Australia first sighted by Captain Cook and his crew on the 'Endeavour', named after his first Lieutenant Zachary Hicks.
