Some of the better riders practicing
The Campbells Bay School Unicycle Club meets every Monday afternoon after school for an hour. It is the brain-child of Mark, a keen unicycling parent and dozens of children (and one parent - Me) have learnt to ride in the past few years on the loan unicycles that are available. The Club represents the school at various parades during the year wearing the blue school t-shirt and matching red 10-gallon hats.
My two sons asked if they could learn, I got hooked also as I'm crazy about anything related to cycling and my wife just got her first uni for Christmas. My two year old daughter will have to wait a year or two for her turn.
These photos are from the last club meet of the year where the kids could try out a giraffe, ride the Punicycle (12"), get a certificate for participating and have an ice-block to cool down afterwards.
