Mossbrae Falls

Mossbrae Falls pours into the Sacramento River along side the town of Dunsmuir, California. The falls can be accessed from a short hiking trail along the Union Pacific Railroad tracks starting near Scarlett Way. The 1.2 mile trail follows the railroad tracks going north. The trail can be narrow in places so be aware of approaching trains. The Falls are described by Wikipedia as being approximately 50’ high and 150’ wide and are fed by springs, which course down the canyon wall, and into the Sacramento River, creating the illusion of numerous waterfalls dropping into the river.
