Newcastle East panorama 1870s

a panorama of Newcastle East in the early 1870s - the Hospital (built 1866) the Gaol (demolished about 1876) are visible, but the Customs House (built 1877) is not.


The panorama uses two photos, taken from a spot near Newcomen Street and north of Church Street.
