Dinner For Tonight
I found two hot cherry peppers in my front yard garden and that got me thinking. I picked a few small onions and a sweet banana pepper from the back yard. I sauteed the peppers, onion and garlic in olive oil. The boys knew I was cooking so they hung around the kitchen to see if I dropped anything. Jimmy Dean followed me barking, trying to let me know he wanted some of my dinner.I added diced some skinless boneless chicken breast and cooked it up, then I added water and rice (plus adobo and saffron)and let it cook until the rice was done (covered). I dished it out in to a bowl and added frozen vegetables to the pot and let the boys have go for it (no hot peppers for them). I like cooking up fresh stuff and trying new things in the kitchen.
