iPhone 3G BodyGuardz (3rd attempt - 6 days later)

Overall, I'm quite happy with the film -- though clearly I have challenges with the corners. In three corners of the back corners, there is this pinched, ridged effect visible -- though the front corners are fine. Other than that, the overall effect is very clean. Much better compared to my first attempt -- for which there is also a set of pics. As you can see from the top right corner, clean results are possible, but difficult, in my opinion -- or maybe I'm just a klutz, since this is my 3rd attempt!

BTW, what looks like bubbles (on the back surface) to the right, and above the apple logo, are really reflections from my ceiling kitchen lamp. I'll have to see how the 4th try goes, though I'm in no hurry to do this again -- I'll just wait for normal wear and tear to run its course. What I did not try is using a hair dryer for the corners -- as suggested by the bodyguardz video. Perhaps that's the trick to deal with the corners -- maybe next time.

Fortunately, BodyGuardz makes it easy for you to get replacements. There is a lifetime warranty with replacements costing $4.95, which is decent enough -- they also send another tube of spray application fluid -- so don't go crazy and order 2 extra like I did :-)

This is about 6 days after I put the film on. There were about 3 tiny bubbles on the back after I first applied, but they settled after about 2 days. Presumably, that's about how long it takes for any tiny liquid bubbles to evaporate through the film.
