Day in the Life of Lambert- St. Louis ArtWorks Exhibit
August 1- September 21, 2012

St. Louis ArtWorks presents a 16-piece exhibit of paintings by teen art apprentices highlighting the people and scenes of Lambert. The works are creative inspirations based on a one-day photo tour of the Airport that allowed the students and their mentors to visit Lambert's terminals, concourses and see all the action on the airfield. The young artists painted vibrant scenes including arriving passengers, luggage handlers and Lambert employees painting the airfield. Many captured the historic architecture of Lambert's Terminal 1 within their artwork.

The project was generously supported through a grant from The Boeing Company. The Saint Louis Art Museum provided in kind teaching support for the summer program. The art pieces are available for sale with proceeds supporting future St. Louis ArtWorks programs.
