That's my bird to Bangkok!
Here is Sri Chulalak, the Thai Airways bird that will take me to BKK from Dubai International Airport. This is an Airbus A330. I had an Arabic co-passenger almost one and a half seats wide next to me. Fortunately, the flight was almost empty upto Chennai (Madras, India) so he planted himself elsewhere. He returned to his seat on the MAA to BKK leg, and had me almost plastered to the wall! Note the typically Thai motif partially visible just under the sky bridge. Here the plane is being loaded with luggage containers at Dubai International Airport. I could sit staring at the bird all the time till departure. It was refreshing to fly in an airline other than Emirates for a change. The ex was working for that airline, so before the break up, almost every flight out of Dubai had to be on EK.
