The title is so apt, a wonderful shot, but why did it take our politicians well the worlds politicians so long to realise the time for change was 15 or 20 years ago and react so late
  • Steven Parker 6y

Wow ~ the sky looks like Jupiter ~ great red spot and all.

Nathan- This would be a good Apocalypse Friday photo. Great capture. We have fields with several hundred of wind turbines in southern MN and have for years! Who'd know that MN would be on the forefront? Know you're enjoying the AK crew. We hope to see them soon. Sherri

I agree with the sentiment, but I have also wondered: if we tried to _solve_ the energy problem with wind energy, would we make significant enough a perturbation to change the weather? I think I'll ask my climatologist friend, even if he does specialize in the climate on Titan. Fantastic shot by the way.

<persephone> We already know from 9/11 that we seem to be doing this with aircraft. The weather seemed to change when planes were not flying. Gotta wonder if it rains more downwind of windmills - do they start to act like hills?
  • {Nelly Rodriguez} 6y

Great shot! Love that intense sky!
