Yashica Electro 35 AF-mini Camera Test
Ah, the colors of autumn. Perfect time to head for the mountains, and test a camera.

The Yashica Electro 35 AF-mini is an Electro in name only, as this was built from a common Kyocera form, was marketed under three names, and has nothing in common mechanically or optically with the name-sake line.

It has a simple lens with low contrast, and lack of sharpness. The meter tends to over expose everything. And my first copy will not go into rewind at the end of the roll, necessitating a trip to the darkroom at the photo lab. I do have a second copy of this camera that I tested for the auto rewind, and can report that it does indeed work. After seeing the results from this test though, I won't be wasting any film in it.

But, what can one ask from a two dollar junk store camera?
