Former Pulaski, VA Hospital 3

They built a new complex on the outskirts of town to replace this one which looks like it dates back to the 1920's or 1930's. The newest part was added in 1967.


A nice touch, being able to be wheeled out to a balcony to enjoy the fresh air. Not counting the pollution belching from autos burning leaded gasoline, the railroad engines burning coal, and the local factories burning whatever they could. From the looks of the storage tanks I saw, the hospital likely used fuel oil for heat, and the boilers.
