Keith Haring early years exhibition

Keith Haring believed in making art accessible to everyone and not just to wealthy collectors. The irony in this is that as an icon in modern art history his work is now highly sought after, with small pages from a notebook or a scrap of paper he drew on fetching upwards of $10,000. He accomplished his idea though as his style & ideology have greatly influenced current day graffiti artists and advertising. I feel truly lucky to have been able to visit this exhibition and see this small sampling of his work in person.
