What in the world is going on? SPD#29

I took this shot ten minutes after we had another gully washer. The sky can't make up its mind! Wouldnt two, full consecutive days of sunshine be great? Lately its been raining twice a week here; once for four days followed by three more!

What a nice respite! It's been fairly dry here and all of a sudden today we had thunderstorms with big fat rain! Of course this happened when I was biking home at great speed. Ah well -- I'm not made of sugar so I won't melt :-)

it's a conspiracy - something about the sky is getting a cut on the high gas prices - the more it rains, the more we have to mow the lawn, hence the more gas we go through. I'm considering goats, need to check the village ordinances though...

Shetha- You may not be made of sugar but you were sweet to post a nice comment. Thanks!

Amy- You could be right. A while ago, as I was mowing the lawn, it began to rain again. They are calling for tomorrow to be sunny but the rest of the week looks bleak. At least I can get some sunshine from those like you who follow my photostream. Thank you for that!

We've been seeing the same here. Rain, then blue sky, followed by clouds and more rain. The sun is a rarity the last few days.

Great sky shot - love the tree silhouettes and the light in the clouds! :)

Today looks promising. I finished mowing in the rain yesterday.

Sandy- I hope it stops raining for your 4th of July too. Have a blast!

Kim- I dont think were too far apart are we?

Amp'ed- I was hoping the trees would help. I like their darkness against the lighted sky. Cameras are wonderfully magical things!
