While in Maui Sarah and I visited Haleakala National Park for a sunrise bike tour. Haleakala is a dormant volcano on Maui that is more than 10,000 feet tall. We started by taking a van tour to the summit starting at 3 am. On the way to the top of the volcano their are 26 180 degree switchback turns. I was glad I didn't get too car sick. The temperature was about 40 degrees colder at the summit but we dealt with the cold temps and ended up getting some great shots. After viewing the sunrise we mountain biked down the mountain 26 miles back to town.
This is SOOC outside of some cropping.
More pics from the summit to come.....
