La città sparita

    Newer Older

Me ne lasciate due? ..:)..
    ...(continua)...

    ----------------------------------------------------* * * * * ---------------------------------------------------------
I woke up and I couldn't believe to my eyes, all was white, the city was disappeared. Disappeared under a tick and soft blanket, of a candid white. The silence of snow wrapped all: hills, roads, shapes of parked cars… me.
I feel the urge to go down street. Yep,.:). in putting snowboots on, not only the charming-wonderful-beautiful landscape impress me, also the atmosphere was wonderfully surrealistic and bizzarre.
No sound of motors and few persons on the road, surprised, fascinated, willing to express emotions, shared with a smile to the strangers, to whom, maybe, that present too (not me I had snowboot yey!), an uncertain step on the snowy roads :), so silent; snow that you clearly felt creak under the shoes, interrupted by nothing, steps that you could hear... steps that you could see.
Persons on the road, the only car was.. the snowplow (!), an alien by us.
No connection to the city center for all the morning, only a backery open, "take by storm", people who returned with gold in the plastic bags… bread, that goes away like the bread. ;).
I remember a mrs. behind me, watching the little remained, asking me: Will you take all the sandwiches away? Can you left me two of them? …:)
    .... (it continues)....

A nice story in this magical "snowland". It was exciting for you, I am sure. The best thing is: Many "motorised people" causing silence :-)

It must have been very strange for you--the crazy thing is we have had no snow in Edinburgh this year but lots last year--so your turn!
