Blue spot sea squirt (Clavelina moluccensis) hitching a ride on a Sea Cucumber (Bohadschia argus). DSCN4470-1
I found the sea squirt on the sea cucumber after a passage of a tropical depression (later turning into a Typhoon) over Guam. The past 5 days have seen a lot of rain and surge in Apra Harbor. I notice during the dive that there was a lot of silt on the reefs. I'm not sure if this is a permanent attachment. I''ll attempt to find this cucumber on a later dive to see if the sea squirt is still attached.
