Teide broom
There are thousands of rabbits in the Teide National Park. They love the Teide broom (spartocytisus supranubius) and eat the bottom, only the bottom, of the plants, as they are small and don’t reach high. It is why the plants look like being trimmed. The untouched plants are a different kind, the rabbits don’t like.
