The Luck Of Lincoln

    Newer Older

East Midlands Trains' 153302 and 153319 stand at Derby station on a service to Matlock. The inner destination blind on 153319 however has not been updated and betrays the fact that Lincoln is terribly unlucky when it comes to rail services. Most of East Midlands Trains' routes to and from Lincoln are operated using solo class 153 units, which not only have very limited capacity but also little legroom and small windows.

Matlock, in this case, is therefore a little unlucky, since 153s are working the service. Slightly less unlucky than Lincoln though since at least there are two 153s here, rather than just the one.
