Star Trails + Spot The Station from Melbourne, FL - June 17, 2015
This is the Mother of All Star Trail (MOAST?) photos, at least for me. This is a stack of 403 images, each with a 30 second exposure taken with a GoPro Hero4 using "night lapse" mode. The camera is clipped to a fence (that's what you see in the top right of the frame - part of the fence) looking out over Nail Farms in Melbourne, Florida. The time frame begins at 10:48pm and ended, well, when the battery died at 2:17am (on June 18).
Credit to Trevor Mahlmann for sending me a message shortly before I started this shot to let me know the International Space Station was flying overhead. That's the line to the left of the rightmost trees. Also, if you look really close there is a small Iridium Flare to the left of the ISS streak.
