It has taken a week for me to make (build!) my Tiny Town quilt. It has been such a fun process- I worked out how to make the houses myself (with a fair bit of trial and error), and could have kept on going, but the wall I am hanging it on isn't big enough to take more houses than this!
It is sashed in lots of white, and bound in white with little pieces of spot or solid fabric every 7 1/2 inches. I stippled it very heavily- I haven't sone such heavy quilting before and I really like the effect it has.
I have to give credit to the Ingrid Press quilt for the ideas for this quilt- while I designed the houses etc myself, the style and the binding are based on her quilt. There is a pic of hers here: www.flickr.com/photos/imagingermonkey/3852874991/
