Mickey's Diner at Night; Saint Paul, Minnesota

Mickey's is a Saint Paul landmark, and is about as close as we come to an Edward Hopper painting. The dining car was manufactured in 1937 by the Jerry O'Mahony Company in Bayonne, NJ and assembled onsite in 1939. It has been fighting the good fight against "progress" ever since. The image was taken in April, 2009, with a handheld Nikon D300.
