50mm Milky Way
Ugh, back to work, I wish I could just edit pictures all day....but you gotta pay the bills. This is a 50mm stitch, I think I need to start doing more of these with interesting foreground objects to get a bit more zoom on the core area. Turned out a bit green thanks to the diffuse airglow, tough to color balance the reds, due to the full spectrum modification of my camera, and greens, due to the airglow, properly so it looks natural. But I love the detail captured in the core and Rho Ophiuchi complex.
6 shots for this one, 3 for the sky and 3 for the foreground, with my Nikon D600 (full spectrum modified) and Nikon 50mm f1.8g lens. Each exposure was a 1 minute exposure at f2.8 and ISO 1600.
