Midtown Greenway - Chicago Avenue ramp

What an entrance! Like all other users of the transportation system, bicyclists desire high quality facilities.

Oh, stupid lack of vacation time and high-speed rail. I'll have to wait until next season.

I planned to go to Minneapolis as far back as 2007 mainly because I wanted to see the new light rail trains that began operating in 2007.

But I believe I had a better time in 2009 than I would have had in 2007 or 2008 because the Midtown Greenway hadn't yet opened.

I went to Minneapolis in 1998 (plus or minus 2 years). I arrived on United Airlines and returned to Chicago on Amtrak. The train took as long as the bus, but cost 1/4th the amount.

I think this is the nation's premiere off-street trail. I haven't been to many, but I've seen many. There are pinch points on this trail, but this is one of the longest car-free paths I've ever heard of. I would love to live near here.
