Cyprus, Curium, Temple of Apollo Hylates

Originally a 7th century BC shrine, the visible ruins date to Roman times. Apollo Hylates was the god of the woods and forests. These restored columns mark the site of the Temple itself, and other stones survive in the grounds of the sanctuary.
