Blueberry #2

Here's blueberry liqueur #2 - the one with fresh blueberries - after two weeks' steeping time and its initial filtration.

 

For the first pass it had to be filtered through a rough metal mesh sieve, stopping periodically to dump the accumulated berry chunks.

 

In a week's time the remaining solids should have settled nicely on the bottom of the jar and I should be able to pour the rest through my normal coffee filters without too much trouble.

 

Blueberry #1 still has a good 10 weeks to go. I wonder how different the end result will be?
