Historical House in Brush Park

I remember when this place was literally down to its facade-not even a shell-and there wasn't much left there either-now it's back to its former glory. On the outside at least.

    Whoa - true urban beauty.

    Dramatic shadows-- nice.

The units are pretty well-appointed, I believe. Beautiful inside and out. I'd love to live here. (And you'll be around the corner in that mansion haha).

Thanks. And I agree that it's TRUE urban beauty!
Actually THIS is what I was shootin' for-but you can have it (lol)! I got a fellin'-a REAL good feelin'-that in spite of the F-Ups that Kwame brought on Detroit, we will STILL rise!

@ rjccviii: thanks for the fave!

Haha there's at least four units in there. We could be neighbors.

I can't get enough of this building. Such a great subject to shoot.
  • Bob Julius 7y

That's a good thought (on both fronts)!

One of the units is currently up for sale.

I wonder which one (didn't Bobby Alcott stay in this area)?
