To All the Saints
Mathews Family Memorial Church, Waiorongomai, Wairarapa, New Zealand
One of the best things ( out of so many good things ) about shooting an "away" wedding is the chance to find new locations to shoot some landscape photography. This church has been on my radar for a long time, but I never had the opportunity to get there. Until today.
It is variously known as The All Saints Church or the Matthews Family Memorial Church, but either way it was built in 1927 by the children of Alfred and Hannah Matthews, who founded the nearby Waiorongomai Station.
And this morning there was only myself and a few sheep to enjoy the sunrise at this stunning location.
