71 lake district Scandale Fell
Taken in January 2010. This has been hanging around for a while even by my standards.
Despite the fairly placid scene, there was a strong and bitter north easterly wind and any hope of getting the tripod down or even stopping seemed forlorn but an old wall up on Loughrigg Fell provided some shelter. With two tripod legs on stones sticking out of the wall and the whole thing pressed against the wall, only my head and the camera were exposed.
The colour version seemed to lack something but I was reluctant to ditch it because of the labour in taking it. Finally a black and white conversion seemed to do the trick and it is hopefully ready to see the light of day at last.
Best if you View On Black.
