Colorful Rocks at Clachtoll Beach

I trekked out to the edge of the coast to capture this wide view of the vividly hued rocks at Clachtoll Beach. Although the rocks here are russet-colored sandstone, the surface colors here are mostly but lichens, seaweeds and other organisms clinging to the surface.

This panoramic view is stitched together from three separate shots. In this case, the stitch program really botched the horizon, so I put in a lot of work reassembling the horizon line using a photo editor.
