Beach huts in colour
UK Journal Day 28 (Travel Diary Day 66)
(travel blog - strange-lands.com/daily/2012/09/19/beach-huts-in-colour/)
We’ll be married again in 10 days. Well, not really married. This is a renewal of vows, and not a renewal of vowels as I keep calling it by accident. I know that a lot of you may not have read our post on our Korean wedding. It was the least romantic episode ever (You can read it here – Wedding in Seoul). We’ll make up for the lack of romance this time.
I think I’ll be at my most handsome. The problem is, my hair is defiant. I’ve never really had a style other than short. It wasn’t really a choice. It’s like barbed wire. And when I wash it, it puffs up like a little ‘fro. I’m at a loss for what to do with it. Rachel has forbidden me to shave my head.
I also don’t own a pair of shoes. What does a traveller want with a pair of shoes?
Today’s Photo – Beach huts on Blyth beach
My 13 year old nephew and I spent the late afternoon exploring the pier and beach and we came across these very 50s-esque huts on Blyth beach. Despite a very uneventful sky, I loved the scene for its simplicity.
