Chairs in the morning
UK Journal Day 24 (Travel Diary Day 62)

I’m preparing for tomorrow’s photowalk in London. I’m looking forward to meeting some more HDR fans.
I have a number of daily commitments that I’m resolute on not breaking. I post to this blog everyday, and I update HDR One every day too. So when there’s time away I have to work a wee bit more to stay ahead of myself. I’ve also created a 500px account where you can buy my pictures if you like. There’s only a few on there so far. 500px.com/JimmyMcintyre
Today’s Photo – Lonely chairs during a dark sunrise
Standing on the edge of a path drowned in the over-flowing tide, I gave up the sunrise hunt. It was clear the sun wasn’t going to make an appearance. I turned around and began to walk up the path. All of a sudden I noticed an amazing pink in the sky. Confused, I looked back to check there was no sun. It was still nowhere to be seen.
I realised it was the lights from the town below illuminating the sky – Thank the gods for light pollution! The chairs sitting calmly on the hill, while the grass and bushes around were pummeled by the wind, really caught my eye. There was something sinister about the scene. It wouldn’t be out of place in a Tim Burton movie.
