UK Journal Day 10 (Travel Diary Day 48)
(travel blog - strange-lands.com/daily/2012/08/30/a-lighthouse-at-blue-h...)
Today I created free time for myself with the goal of organising all of my photos from the last six months. It’s been 8 hours now and I’m half way through. It’s torture. I love editing images. You can let all of your creative juices flow. Organising things like this is a chore.
Rachel would love it. She was born to be an organiser of things. She organises everything. I’m not even allowed to carry a passport in case I lose it again, or a subway ticket, or a bus ticket for that matter.
I’ve been ruthlessly deleting photos. Roughly 60gb has been wiped from my laptop, and hopefully 60gb more will be gone tomorrow.
Today’s Photo – St. Mary’s Lighthouse at blue hour
This is arguably my favourite time of the day, that period where the sunset-soaked sky slowly starts to turn blue. You have enough light to be flexible with your dials, and a bounty of natural colours to work with.
