Los Angeles, 1900

A Sanborn fire insurance map from 1900 showing the future location of Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument No. 210, Terrace Park and Powers Place. The park, originally Summerland Park, today encompasses a 1.17-acre triangle of parkland, its panhandle, and the street - the shortest in L.A. - that bisects them. The park dates to 1904.
