Terrace Park and Powers House, Los Angeles

Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument No. 210, Terrace Park and Powers Place encompass a 1.17-acre triangle of parkland, its panhandle, and the street - the shortest in L.A. - that bisects them. L.A. HCM No. 86, built for City Council President and real estate developer Pomeroy W. Powers. Both the park and the home date to 1904.
